christiespace is thankful for...
  • My dad. He passed away at the end of February. I am making changes in my life for the better every day. I pray more and share the light he lit in me as a child for Gods word. I take Joy in my home and my children. I am becoming a devoted and loving wife. All these things should have been going on long ago, but the loss of my father made them so much clearer to me. I must make a positive impact on my family to be remembered as a light along the way.

  • Life, because I was given one more day to be here for my loved ones. I don't have a terminal illness, other than age. We all have a time, some sooner than later. Today I was reminded that even children pass on, one of my daughters classmates earned his wings today. He had cancer. I feel for his family because I have lost family to cancer, not one so young. So today in the middle of holiday preparations I stopped to remember that I should be thankful for life, my life, their lives. Life.

  • Friends, the kind you can count on. The kind that will take care of things you feel you should be taking care of yourself, but can't. The friends that regardless of how long you have known them you trust with almost everything you own. Friends that answer the phone in the middle of the night and aren't mad but are thankful to know you are alive. Friends that remember, friends that forgive and friends that stay true. Regardless.

  • For the ability to home school my daughter. I may not be thankful every day (Because I know this isn't going to be easy) but today I am blessed with the ability to bring her back home and teach her what she has been lacking (or getting too much of) in public education. I know that giving this over to GOD is the only way to go, He will direct our path and when we have to wait for an answer we have the guidance of years of experience given to us by GOD guided families! We will succeed!!!

I am a daughter, sister, mother, wife, and friend but above all a child of GOD. I forgive faster than I forget. Family and friends know they can count on me when the time comes to bury a body, dry tears or down a shot.
